+The following colors were selected as part of a software development project at university. \
+However, we ended up using a different color palette, so I decided to publish the colors here.
+
+This color palette is licensed under the `MIT` license.
+
+# Goals
+The goal of this color scheme is to encapsulate the old, 
+sepia vibe of medieval fantasy paintings like [these](https://canvas-canvaskle.blogspot.com/2021/02/concept-art-medieval-landscape.html).
+
+To do this, I selected a couple of pictures from my duckduckgo search results,
+opened them in Gimp and applied an oil painting filter. 
+This was done to smooth the colors and make selecting them with the color picker easier.
+
+Afterwards, I went through, selected fitting colors, and adjusted the hue, saturation, and value. \
+Some additional, complementary colors were then manually hand-crafted from the first batch of colors.
+
